The Quarry is a master-planned community on 830 acres designed around three large lakes. It has beach, tennis and golf lodges with swimming pools, fitness centers, retail shops and elegant spa services. Hurdzan-Fry, called among the top ten architects in the U.S. by Golf World, designed the Quarry’s golf course.
Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II and Gary Player took on the challenge of massaging part of 1,100 untouched acres of preserves and lakes and creating two championship 18-hole courses at Twin Eagles. An eagle is a golf hole played with two strokes under par or one of the majestic birds found in Naples. In addition to the two golf courses, amenities include lighted Har-Tru tennis courts and a clubhouse that features casual and fine dining, a fitness center and golf shop.
Treviso Bay is one of the newest golf communities in Naples. As it is developed, it will feature condominiums, coach homes, villas, single-family homes and luxury custom estates. Its centerpiece is the Tournament Players Club and Golf Course designed by Arthur Hills with PGA Tour Player Design Consultant Hal Sutton. In addition to the golf club, amenities include a fitness center; six tennis courts; resort-style lagoon pool and lap pool, and off-site marina.
Considered one of the best locations in Naples for building a custom single family home, only 540 homesites are nestled among 1,180 acres in the gated community of Quail West. Residents enjoy an incredible amount of privacy and these spacious lots are surrounded by tasteful landscaping and give golf, lake and preserve views. Quail West features two 18-hole Arthur Hills signature golf courses. These courses offer golfers two different environments in which to enjoy the game. The Vineyards is a master-planned community with condos, coach homes, detached and attached villas and custom-built single-family houses in a variety of neighborhoods. The community is designed around two golf courses. The north course, designed by Mark McCumber, has Scottish-style links. The south course was designed by Bill Amick. Amenities include the award-winning Vineyards Country Club, which has a 70,000-square-foot clubhouse.
Audubon is aptly named for the renowned naturalist, with a community limited to 400 homes over 770 acres. That leaves room for a couple dozen lakes and more than 200 acres of preserves. Golf courses, designed by Joe Lee, lie on both sides of Vanderbilt Drive. In addition, there are eight Har-Tru tennis courts, tournament-rated croquet courts and an extensive fitness and social programs.
Grey Oaks attracts avid golfers and those who just want to live in a beautiful setting. It is an award-winning master-planned community with a wide variety of neighborhoods that feature luxury condos, villas and single-family estates. Clifton, Ezell and Clifton, designed the Pine and Palm golf courses. Bob Cupp added a third course in the Estuary neighborhood. There is an 18-hole putting course built to USGA specifications as well.
The Strand is an award-winning, 575- acre planned community with a variety of condominiums and single-family homes and its own shopping center. The drawing-card for the community is a golf program that features three, nine-hole championship courses designed by Gordon Lewis: the Sabal, Savannah and Preserve.
